How to People Get the Right to Call Themselves eBay PowerSeller?
eBay gets to decide who can be an eBay PowerSeller and who can’t, and they have strict requirements.
To get in at the minimum PowerSeller level, you must have a
feedback rating of at least 100 (minimum 98% positive) and sell at least $1,000 worth of items every month for three months in a row.
There are different levels of PowerSeller membership as you sell items of greater value: $1,000 total is bronze, $3,000 is silver, $10,000 is gold, $25,000 is platinum and $125,000 is
titanium.
If PowerSellers ever fail to meet the required amount of sales, or their feedback falls below 98% positive, then they lose their PowerSeller status. In short, the only people who get to be PowerSellers on eBay are the people who have been successful for a good while, and are on track to stay that way

Keyword Prominence
by Hans Kristian Anderson on Feb.07, 2010, under Search Engine Optimization
When you refer how prominent keywords are within a web page, it’s called keyword prominence.
The general theory is to place crucial keywords at, or near, the start of a web page, sentence, META tag or Title.
Keyword proximity has to do with the closeness between two or more keywords. In general, the closer the keywords are
the more beneficial they become.
For example:
-How Keyword Density Affects Search Engine Rankings
-How Keyword Density Affects Rankings in Search Engine
Using the example above, if someone searched for “search engine rankings,” a web page containing the first sentence is more likely to rank higher than the second.
The reason is because the keywords are placed closer together. Of course this is assuming that everything else is equal.

Who Do You Trust?
by Hans Kristian Anderson on Feb.06, 2010, under Hans Kristian Anderson
Who do you trust?
I’m going to be more specific…
Who do you trust when it comes to your
business?
Let me give you an example…
Would you be better off getting instruction from someone “just starting out” or someone that has sold over $50 million dollars online? Sounds silly doesn’t it? The answer is pretty obvious.
The problem is, too many people listen to advice from people who have little to no experience with what they are actually teaching.
Yes there is all kinds of free information online showing you this and teaching you that. But is the source really credible?
At World Internet Summit Speakers it’s my intention and mission to help steer you in the correct direction.
A resource that I trust is called Marketing Tutorials. It’s run by world famous internet marketer Armand Morin. Armand answers questions (asked by everyday people) in step-by-step videos.
It’s the perfect solution if you want someone showing you exactly what to do to grow your online business. Especially when your
coach or mentor has has sold over $50 million dollars online.

Build Trust and Loyalty Among Your Customers
by Hans Kristian Anderson on Feb.06, 2010, under Building a List
Your customers will not buy from you unless you are able to prove your worthiness. So, you have to spend notable time working to build their trust. There are various ways to do this. You can join forums that talk about the products or service industry you have an interest in, and you can also look for experts in your particular field to offer their advice and recommendations to your subscriber list.
Also, make sure your website is clear and offers your visitors relevant and important information they will find helpful during their journey. If you are practicing affiliate marketing, and even if you are not, make sure you tested or tried any products you plan to sell so you can provide your subscribers honest reviews of them. This is the #1-way to build trust, and trust always leads to higher profit margins.
You should also build a user-friendly website, one that has a navigation bar placed in a prominent location. Make sure you provide your customers with a contact us page and always respond to customer or visitor inquiries within 48 hours if this is possible. The sooner you get back with your visitors, the better reputation you will build.
When responding to customer’s that contact you through your website, make sure that you remind them to sign up for your free newsletter if they haven’t already, which will contain more information on the subject they are looking for. Don’t automatically assume they want to be subscribed to your newsletter just because they asked a question on the topic. Tell them what your newsletter offers, and how they can subscribe.
When you build trust and loyalty, your customers are also more likely to refer your business to their friends and their family. Some web owners design a page after the order page that allows the customer to input the names and emails of two to three of their friends that might also be interested in your products. This is another simple way to build your list. Make sure you provide them an incentive for checking you out, in the way of a free report, book, checklist or newsletter subscription.
The main point to remember is if your subscribers think you are some sort of snake oil salesman, they won’t be a subscriber for very long.
