Start Selling on eBay Part 1
by Hans Kristian Anderson on Nov.05, 2009, under eBay
Here’s part 1 (1-5) of a ten step path to help you start selling on eBay and become a successful eBay seller.
Step 1: Choose your market.
Take some time and observe the products that you are interested in. Determine whether they are selling or not on eBay. The market research information that you can collect will come in handy later on. You should start to notice a pattern of those few items that always seem to sell for a good price.
Step 2: Study the competition.
Observe what other sellers in your category are doing, and what their strategies are before you invest your hard earned money.
Step 3: Find a product.
Contact several suppliers for whatever product you decide to sell and compare prices to find the best price. When you find a suppliers price that is lower then what you see on eBay, your in.
Step 4: Don’t Go Crazy.
Don’t go crazy spending all of your money right from the get go. Take your time, see whats working and whats not, learn as you go.
Step 5: Time To Test.
Try different strategies until you discover what works, and then repeat the process over and over. If it keeps working you just found a niche that is profitable.
Tomorrow I’ll post part 2 (6-10)
