The practice of buying text links should be something you do only after you have been working your link strategy for some time.

Make sure you get plenty of one-way links and reciprocal links to your websites before you decide to use paid links.

What you are essentially doing is buying a link on another website when you purchase text links. It is important that you do this in the same manner that you use for one-way and reciprocal links.

Make sure you choose sites that are related to your site ( topic), use keyword rich links and don’t go crazy with to many it. Slow and steady wins the race.

Focus on where you can get the biggest bang for your buck. Set up your budget accordingly, start out small and work your way up to the high priced links.
