Ultimate List Building

———————————-
Create a compelling squeeze page
———————————-

Your first step in building a big list is creating a lead-pulling squeeze page. To do that, you need the following
elements:

A headline with a big benefit that also (preferably) arouses the reader’s curiosity.

Body copy and a list of benefits that gives the reader a strong reason why they should join your list.

A strong call to action.

Let’s look at each of these separately…

1) A Compelling Headline

Your headline is the most important part of your entire squeeze page. That’s because if the headline doesn’t do its job – which is to get the prospect to read the rest of your copy – then your entire squeeze page might as well not even exist.

Too often, marketers make the mistake of trying to sell their products, services and even free newsletter subscriptions in the headline.

Don’t even attempt it… you don’t have enough room to do that anyway. Instead, tempt your prospects with a compelling benefit and arouse curiosity in an effort to make them keep reading. Grab them by the shirt collar and drag them into their copy.

If your headline “sucks” them into the
rest of your copy, you’ll have plenty of time to use your best persuasion tactics to get their subscription.

Example: “Discover FOR FREE How a 45 Year Old Waitress Lost 30 Pounds Without Dieting… And How YOU Can Too!”

This example includes a benefit and uses the word “free” (which is a trigger word, and arouses curiosity).

2) Reason-Why Copy and Benefit List

Once you’ve pulled your prospect into your copy, then you need to sell them on joining your list.

That means giving them strong reasons why they should join, with a strong emphasis on a bulleted benefit list that catches the eye.

Think of your bulleted benefits like mini-headlines: Each of them should promise a benefit and, preferably, arouse curiosity. Example: “* Turn to page 12 to discover the common herb that wards off the common cold!”

In this section of your squeeze page you’ll want to include proof of your claims as well as social proof such as testimonials from your other newsletter subscribers.

3) A Strong Call to Action

Finally, your squeeze page should end with a strong call to action. This is where you specifically tell your prospects exactly what you want them to.

Common sense suggests that if you have a strong headline and strong, benefit-laden copy, then prospects would be eager to join your list – and they’d know exactly what to do. But tests have also repeatedly proven that telling prospects EXACTLY what to do increases your conversion rate.

Example: “Fill in your first name and email address below and click “submit” to join get your free weight loss report now!”

Making Money With Private Label Rights

by on Dec.28, 2009, under Private Label Rights

You might be wondering what the difference is between Private Label Rights and product resell rights. With product resell rights, you obtain the right to resell the product as is, without changing its form, name or design.

Traffic to your website Webinar.

Now if you have a Private Label Rights to a specific product, you now have the right to change or modify the original product, use your own specifications, apply changes and then call it your own original product.

Some examples of products that you can obtain Private Label Rights to are e-books, articles, software and other written materials.

Take an E-book, for example. If an author of an E-book would give you Private Label Rights about “Cellular Phone Technology”, you can modify the content to tackle the latest developments about this ever-changing technology.

You can add features and create helpful sub-topics that would best fit the current trends in cellular technology.

After the modifications, you can claim rights to the e-book that you modified.

The idea may have been copied or bought, but you get to have the rights to resell the “new” product resulting from the one that was modified.

‘New versus modified’

In a basic business course, you are taught to develop an original product which will “sell” to a particular market.

You have learned that an original design and functionality will pave the way towards introducing a great new invention in the market.

However, developing and manufacturing your own product is quite a tedious process. (Maximum PLR)

The good thing is that once you have an output, you can profit from your original product by several ways.

First, you can sell the rights for business owners to resell your products without any modifications whatsoever.

You can also build a web site for your product and get other related web sites to advertise your products for you.

Once you find that your product is not anymore at par with the current technological standards and it does not meet the consumer’s needs, then you can modify it.

The resulting product with the new modifications will again earn you the rights to resell that new product. The possibilities are endless once you have developed a product of your own.

Now, take a look at the advantages of a modified product as a result of gaining Private Label Rights.

First, this is the easiest way to build a business if you do not have the time to develop your own product. Gaining Private Label Rights would make it “legal” for you to re-use an original product content without having to worry about infringements on intellectual property rights.

This principle mostly applies to written and electronic material such as e-books, articles, even source codes.

Second, you can use your creativity to modify an existing product and make it your own.

If you put together ten articles about a common theme, modify them a bit to come up with one basic idea, you would have a resulting product which is more comprehensive than the original material. This is better as compared to just combining two articles with the same idea and packaging them individually.

You can also use an original material or text and use the Private Label Rights that you obtained to develop a web site about the same topic.

There are hundreds of possibilities about how you can earn money with the use of Private Label Rights. Affiliate sites and other web sites offering Private Label Rights would make modifications seem effortless.

This area of Internet marketing shows such potential that many online businesses are grabbing the opportunity.

All you have to do is find the right material to work with and you can have an instant product to work with. Just change the graphics, modify the text and you are good to go.

The great thing about this is that you can re-package the material and present them to buyers in any way that you would like. Additionally, you get the glory of the byline since you can put your name on the printed or electronic material because the product is yours to claim now.

Internet Marketing, Which System Do I Choose?

by on Dec.26, 2009, under Hans Kristian Anderson

Internet Marketing

Internet marketing can be a little over whelming especially for the newbie.

There are a variety of different ways to get started with internet marketing. You’ve got pay per click, niche websites and affiliate marketing to name a few.

Then you read about the top internet marketers like Tom Hua, Brett Mcfall, Sean Roach, Amand Morin, Matt Bacak, Ewen Chia, Tracy Repchuck and the list goes on.

Where do I start? (I’m so confused) I’m sure you have asked yourself this question. I know I have.

One of the reasons I started this blog was to introduce some of the many different internet marketers and their products. I added the videos, not only to learn from, but to put a face, a voice and a little personality to the name.

I’m going to suggest that you don’t jump in with the first program or internet marketer you come across. Search this blog, search the web, learn the different systems and mentors that are available to you.

To be successful you want to be passionate about the internet marketing system that you decide to go with. You also want to feel comfortable with the Mentor (internet marketer) that you are going to be working with.

I’ve mentioned in previous posts about the upcoming World Internet Summit in New Zealand July 23-26. If you can’t attend the event live, I will be providing information (as we get closer) on how to watch it live on the internet.

This is a great opportunity for newbie’s and experienced marketers to learn about new and different products and systems. You will also get a chance to see the different personalities of the speakers. Possibly your future Mentor.

It does cost money to get into business. Internet marketing is a business and is no different. So take your time and find the right Mentor and system for you.

Failures Don’t Make You A Failure

by on Dec.26, 2009, under Hans Kristian Anderson

As 2010 approaches, you need to ask yourself a question. What are you going to do different in the new year then you did this past year to help your business grow.

The road to success has many curves and turns, unfortunately it is not a straight line. It’s time to discard the ideas that didn’t work in 2009, and implement new ones.

I tried somethings this past year that I would consider failures, but having failures, doesn’t make you a failure.

If you were to ask someone who has achieved true success, I’m willing to wager that they have had more failures in their life then successes. The difference is they never gave up.

The key is knowing when to move on, learn from our mistakes, and never give up.

If you continue to travel the path that you always have, with little success, then you will continue to have little success from the path you have always traveled.

That doesn’t mean that you should give up on your goals or dreams, you may need to tweak a few things.

Decide what has worked and then continue to do it. Decide what hasn’t worked and replace these ideas with new ones.

Maybe you want to try different linking Strategies, learn new search engine optimization tactics, Affiliate Marketing or learn about Building a List.

Unfortunately I’m not able to put a time frame on you achieving your dreams, but I will guarantee total failure if you quit. What ever you decide to do, keep your goals and dreams in mind and don’t give up.
