Bad Content or Overused Content

by Hans Kristian Anderson on Feb.26, 2010, under Article Writing

Hi welcome back.

When you use bad content, there isn’t anything good that can come of it.

Who wants to go looking for information on something that you are researching and find garbage? One of the big reasons to get on the Internet is to research information in a quick and convenient way.

If you waste a visitors’ time, annoy them, or confuse them with bad content, they are certainly not going to buy from you. It is pointless.

If your information is the same thing that everybody else is using (Private label rights articles), the search engines are not going to like you much either.

Bad or overused content isn’t appreciated by article directories either.

That’s why I always suggest to take PLR content and delete from, add to and modify it to make it your own unique article/report.

if you are going to use PLR stuff for your content, make it your own, unique, don’t just as you received it.

The whole idea is completely pointless, if you just use the same content everybody else is using.

Your information has to be good to make it big online. It has always been this way, and it always will be, so start producing good information now!

“I’m not very good at writing”"

That’s fine, then become good at rewriting articles.

You don’t have to come up with anything new, just make it unique. Take private label content, and rewrite it, improve it, repackage it.

But, you can only do that with content that is already at least decent. If it is bad, trash it and move on.

It is too time consuming to try and turn bad content into good. It is much easier to start fresh.

Look at your content from a visitor’s perspective. If you were looking for information on that specific topic, would you be happy with the content that you are presenting?

Step inside your customer’s/visitor’s shoes and look at your business through their eyes. When you make this procedure a habit, you can only improve your business.

Article Writing Good and Fast

by Hans Kristian Anderson on Dec.15, 2009, under Article Writing

While you do not have to be a writing expert, you do have to write a decent article, but one you can whip up in a few minutes. Which can mean the difference between winning and losing.

A good article should have the following essential “ingredients”:

1. It has a great headline.

2. People can skim it easily, so you want multiple subheads throughout your article.

3. Your tag lines and lead-ins should be catchy, so they grab the reader’s attention and get them wanting to read more.

4. Your article should contain bullets, so your reader can easily skim through your article, pick out the pieces they want and move on.

Good article writing isn’t rocket science. But you do not write an article on the Web the same way you write an article for a book.

If you write an article with long and boring paragraphs, no one is going to get to the end of the article and click through to your website or affiliate link.

Why? Your article is hard to read. Remember, the computer is hard on the eyes.

Which is easier to read? An article where you break up information using headlines, subhead and bullets (see this example) or one where the information is crammed into one run-on sentence?

Remember, you are not writing a novel here, you are writing a short article.

Highlight the key points of your article. Keep it short, sweet and to the point.

The main goal is to make your reader want more. That will be the reason that they click through your link.

One more thing, have some fun with it.
