The Secret Was Just The Beginning

The Secret
Do you remember that first spark of hope you felt when you watched The Secret with Bob Proctor I clearly remember the desire that filled my heart, knowing that – Yes, I can make my dreams come true – FINALLY!
But how many of you soon saw that hope dwindle into frustration? How many of you started muttering things like (and be honest now):
- “I just can’t get it right, but it seems to work for other people.”
- “I’m frustrated that sometimes I can get it to work, but sometimes I can’t. What’s the trick?”
- “Why am I having so much trouble?”
- “I think the universe is against me.”
- “I’m trying very, VERY hard but still nothing is happening!”
You’re not alone, don’t worry. About 97% of people also couldn’t make the Law of Attraction work for them the first time round. Think about it, just like anything else, before you see success, you have to practice many times. A child doesn’t learn to walk without falling over a couple of times, right?
But, everything is easier said and done in practice. It’s hard to stay positive, when you’re frustrated. And it’s especially harder to stay positive when the evidence all around you screams negativity like the unstable economy or senseless acts of violence such as those recently seen around the world.
And do you know what happens when you fail to stay positive? That’s right – you start attracting negative things in to your life.
So how can you make the Law of Attraction work for you – without getting frustrated? How do those who successfully implement the Law of Attraction do it with such confidence and finesse?
Well, here’s three quick tips so you will never feel frustrated or tired of begging from the universe, because you know how to start manifesting like a pro.
1. Allow Yourself To Receive
Just like a lost child who approaches a police officer and asks, “Excuse me Sir, can you tell me how to go to the post office? Can you? Can you? Can you? Can you? Can you?” Well, the police officer can’t even give an answer, if the child goes on and on asking right?
Well, it’s the same thing with your mind. If the only thing your mind is doing is transmit, transmit, transmit, the universe — which is trying to respond — can’t give you a single thing because you’re not allowing yourself to receive!
So, have the confidence in yourself and stop exhausting yourself by running around person to person begging for riches, and then wondering why nobody is dropping a penny in your cup (Hint: It’s because you’re running away too fast for them before they can even reach for their wallets ).
Just think of your desires and leave it out there, go away, and trust that your cup will be filled with gold coins (or whatever it is you asked for) when the time is right.
2. Be Patient With Yourself
Receiving takes time.
Many people sadly, give up just a couple of steps before the finish line because they’ve decided that if it’s not working by now, it’s never going to work at all. Worse still are those who throw in more and more energy because they think that the results will come faster with more resources
This is like expecting 9 mothers to conceive and deliver a baby in 1 month. Also, in half the time you can’t bake cookies by doubling the temperature. You’ll incinerate those cookies to ashes!
In simple terms: Everything in this world has a natural development time, and this fact will not change no matter what resources you throw at it.
So be patient and relax. Remember as part of the universe, that you too are also governed by the laws of the universe, and the natural development time cannot be changed by you.
If you remember this, you will less likely work yourself up into frustration, or worse, push yourself into a negative downward spiral
3. Support and Educate Yourself
Like the child who is learning how to walk, you need support. You also need the role models to look up to, and the guidance on how to do it.
Many people give up because they think that “The Secret” is the “be all and end all” solution. Well, it’s NOT. “The Secret” is just a small portion. It has never been or never intended to be the whole answer.
Coming to the conclusion that the Law of Attraction doesn’t work when all you ever did to educate yourself was watch “The Secret” 19 times (without looking at changing the habits of other areas of your life) is like coming to the conclusion that exercising is not an effective way to lose weight because all you did is run on the treadmill for 2 hours a day (but you’re still stuffing yourself with cheesecake and fried foods. ).
So be hungry and seek for new knowledge. Also, make an effort to be amongst groups or people where you can learn from each other, support each other and also share new knowledge that you have found.
While the Law of Attraction is not an overnight delivery service, if you do your part too, it will indeed deliver!

Most People Are Not Going After What They Want

What I am about to tell you may be the most important message you have ever heard.

Let me start with a story, perhaps one you have heard, but its point remains sharp!
Mercilessly flood waters continued to rise, as the small, low-lying town was overcome by a huge rainstorm. One homeowner climbed on top of his roof, as the waters showed no sign of abating. The man filled with faith prayed to God, “Lord, keep me from harm. I know you will save me from this storm!” Almost immediately, a boat came by, its helmsman gesturing to the man to get into the boat. ?”God will save me!” Said the devout man. Two other boats were rejected as they came by, as the man continued to pray, “Lord, I KNOW You will save me from this storm!” As he looked to the heavens, he saw a rescue helicopter slowly descending above him, with a rescue basket being lowered to him. Motioning frantically was the crewman in the chopper above, for the man to climb to safety, into the basket. The worshipper again waved him off, only seconds before as the raging current swept the man to his death.
Next thing the man knew, he was at the “Pearly Gates of Heaven” — and he was angry! When he finally saw God, he asked, “Lord, why did you not save me in the storm?” God replied, “What do you mean? I sent you three boats and a helicopter? What more did you need?”
Sometimes one may think that change will come in one’s life by mere wishing. Meanwhile, the same daily, personal actions continue to produce the same results. There is actually a saying, “If you do what you have always done, don’t be surprised when you have what you have always had.” Our lives tend to be filled with habitual actions, ones that continually reap the same rewards. And, amidst such day-to-day living, it can be hard to imagine doing anything else. “This is what I have always done”, or “This is what everyone in my family has always done.” And we stand on the same isolated rooftop, as the flood waters of so many undesired elements — sour relationships, thoughtlessness, debt, sickness and boredom — rise up around us, drowning our dreams, hopes, goals and unseen opportunities.
Well, I have found a “boat”, a helicopter, that is a life-changer — and for busy people, it is ideal! How would you like to change your life to one of success, health, wealth, and fulfillment — and do it in just 6 minutes a day? Seriously, the information that you work with for 6 minutes a day is the same that has changed the lives of millions of people over a 50-year period. It is taught by Bob Proctor (you might have recognized him from the movie and book “The Secret”). Bob is a master teacher for building success.

6 Minutes a Day
Here’s a story that impacted me, (6 Minutes a Day) and I think could offer you some life-changing insights. Let me share it with you.
A man stared into his IPhone, as as he walked down a busy downtown street. Pre-occupied, he walked right past a barricade and amidst construction fell into a deep hole. He was unhurt, except for pride, but was stuck in the hole, nevertheless! As several people walked by, he called out for help, indifferent to his plight. Finally, a doctor stopped, the man asked, “can you help me out Sir?” The doctor hurriedly whipped out a small pad, scrawled out a prescription, threw it into the hole and quickly moved on. A minister heard the voice in the hole, “Hey, will you help me out mister? He quickly wrote out a note, as he looked down the hole and dropped it in, and walked on.
A third man heard the voice and immediately jumped into the hole, when he heard the voice. “Why did you jump in, the first man said astonished Now, there are TWO of us down here!” The new guy replied, “Yeah, but I know the way out, I’ve been here before.
Have YOU ever felt stuck in a hole — of sickness, boredom, bad relationships or debt? Or maybe you just want to continue to take the “higher ground”! I have discovered someone amazing, one who was in that “hole” many years ago. He found the way out, and, for the last 50 years Subscribe in a reader
