Search Engine Rankings Boost

Search Engine Rankings

The time has come to face your website creation. Many methods used to increase Search Engine rankings may seem like rocket science to some,Some readers have probably avoided (good chance) dealing with this subject.

(free link building strategy webinar)

If you have the slightest desire to actually succeed in your business, there is no way you should continue to avoid this very important process. It’s very important to you for making more money when you have a high Search Engine ranking for your website.

The idea of optimizing your pages for high Search Engine rankings is to attract targeted customers to your site who will be more than likely to make a purchase. At least 85% of people looking for goods and services on the Internet find websites through Search Engines such as Yahoo, MSN and of course Google.

Having your page coming up in the search engines in a higher position is what search engine optimization is all about. The higher your page comes up in Search Engine results, the greater the traffic that is directed or sent to your website.

You can immerse yourself in all the technical information available online to figure out how to optimize your web pages to achieve higher rankings.

Or you can look at a few simple items on your pages, make some small adjustments, and most likely see improved rankings quite rapidly. On your home page the first item you should examine is the title bar.

The title bar is the colored bar at the top of the page. When you access your home page, look at the words that appear there. The words on your homepage’s title bar should include the most important keywords or phrases to increase Search Engine rankings, one of which would include your company name.

Then click on all your links and examine the title bars on the pages you access. Each title bar on every single page of your site should contain the most important keywords and phrases taken from the page itself.

Avoid repeating keywords more than once in the title bars, and make sure that identical words are not next to each other and avoid very long strings of keywords, keeping them to six words or less.

The next item to put under your microscope is your website content articles. Search Engines generally list sites that contain quality content rather than scintillating graphics. The text on your site must contain the most important keywords – the words that potential customers will be typing into Search Engines to find your site.

Aim to have around 250 words on each page, but if this is not desirable due to your design, aim for at least 100 carefully chosen words. If you want to achieve a high ranking on Search Engines, this text is essential. However, the Search Engines must be able to read the text, meaning that the text must be in HTML and not graphic format.

To find out if your text is in HTML format, take your cursor and try to highlight a word or two. If you are able to do this, the text is HTML. If the text will not highlight, it is probably in graphic form. In this case, ask your webmaster to change the text into HTML format in order to increase your Search Engine rankings.

Next we come to what is called META tags. I know this sounds like something out of science fiction, but it is really just simple code. Many people believe that META tags are the key to high Search Engine rankings, but in reality, they only have a limited effect. Still, it’s worth adding them in the event that a Search Engine will use META tags in their ranking formula.

To find out if your page is set up with META tags, you must access the code. To do this, click the “view” button on the browser menu bar, and select “source.” This will pull up a window revealing the underlying code that created the page. If there are META tags, they usually appear near the top of the window.

For example, a META tag would read: META name=”keywords” content=. If you do not find code that reads like this, ask your webmaster to put them in. This may not do much for your Search Engine rankings, but any little boost helps.

Lastly, we come to the issue of link popularity. This is a factor that is extremely important in terms of Search Engine rankings. Almost all Search Engines use link popularity to rank your website. link popularity is based on the quality of the sites you have linked to from your links page.

If you type in “free link popularity check” in a popular Search Engine, the Search Engine will then show you what sites are linked to your site. In the case that there aren’t many sites linked up to yours, or that the sites that are linked up have low Search Engine rankings, consider launching a link
popularity campaign.

Basically, this involves contacting prime websites and asking if they are interested in exchanging links with your website. Don’t forget to check out the rankings of the websites you want to link up with. linking to quality, popular sites not only boosts your Search Engine ranking, but it also directs more quality traffic to your website.

Before you go out and hire a search engine optimization company, try taking some of the simple steps listed above, and see if you can’t boost your rankings yourself. For a successful Internet marketing campaign we now fully understand that Search Engine rankings are extremely important. Don’t ever ignore or forget this all important factor in Internet marketing. Remember that the higher your website ranks in the search engines, the more quality customers will be directed your way.

Traffic Tips For Your Blog

by on Dec.03, 2010, under Blogging, Yaro Starak

The day they first launch a new blog is a special day in every bloggers life. Chances are your blog launched with only one very loyal reader – you, unless you went out and purchased someone else’s blog. Maybe a few days later you received a few hits when you told your best friend, father, girlfriend and sister, father, girlfriend about your new blog. But when it comes to finding readers that’s about as far you went .

Traffic to your website Webinar.

Below are tips specifically for new bloggers, those people who have next-to-no audience at the moment and want to get the ball rolling. The top 10 techniques new bloggers can use to find readers.

It helps if you work on this list from top to bottom as each technique builds on the previous step to help you create momentum. Eventually once you establish enough momentum you gain what is called "traction", which is a large enough audience base (about 500 readers a day is good) that you no longer have to work too hard on finding new readers. Instead your current loyal readers do the work for you through word of mouth.

Top 10 Tips

10. Write at least five major “pillar” articles. A pillar article is a tutorial style article aimed to teach your audience something. Generally they are longer than 500 words and have lots of very practical tips or advice. This article you are currently reading could be considered a pillar article since it is very practical and a good “how-to” lesson. This style of article has long term appeal, stays current (it isn’t news or time dependent) and offers real value and insight. The more pillars you have on your blog the better.

9. Write one new blog post per day minimum. Not every post has to be a pillar, but you should work on getting those five pillars done at the same time as you keep your blog fresh with a daily news or short article style post. The important thing here is to demonstrate to first time visitors that your blog is updated all the time so they feel that if they come back tomorrow they will likely find something new. This causes them to bookmark your site or subscribe to your blog feed.

You don’t have to produce one post per day all the time but it is important you do when your blog is brand new. Once you get traction you still need to keep the fresh content coming but your loyal audience will be more forgiving if you slow down to a few per week instead. The first few months are critical so the more content you can produce at this time the better.

8. Use a proper domain name. If you are serious about blogging be serious about what you call your blog. In order for people to easily spread the word about your blog you need a easily rememberable domain name. People often talk about blogs they like when they are speaking to friends in the real world (that’s the offline world, you remember that place right?) so you need to make it easy for them to spread the word and pass on your URL. Try and get a .com if you can and focus on small easy to remember domains rather than worry about having the correct keywords (of course if you can get great keywords and easy to remember then you’ve done a good job!).

7. Start commenting on other blogs. Once you have your pillar articles and your daily fresh smaller articles your blog is ready to be exposed to the world. One of the best ways to find the right type of reader for your blog is to comment on other people’s blogs. You should aim to comment on blogs focused on a similar niche topic to yours since the readers there will be more likely to be interested in your blog.

Most blog commenting systems allow you to have your name/title linked to your blog when you leave a comment. This is how people find your blog. If you are a prolific commenter and always have something valuable to say then people will be interested to read more of your work and hence click through to visit your blog.

6. Trackback and link to other blogs in your blog posts. A trackback is sort of like a blog conversation. When you write a new article to your blog and it links or references another blogger’s article you can do a trackback to their entry. What this does is leave a truncated summary of your blog post on their blog entry – it’s sort of like your blog telling someone else’s blog that you wrote an article mentioning them. Trackbacks often appear like comments.

This is a good technique because like leaving comments a trackback leaves a link from another blog back to yours for readers to follow, but it also does something very important – it gets the attention of another blogger. The other blogger will likely come and read your post eager to see what you wrote about them. They may then become a loyal reader of yours or at least monitor you and if you are lucky some time down the road they may do a post linking to your blog bringing in more new readers.

5. Encourage comments on your own blog. One of the most powerful ways to convince someone to become a loyal reader is to show there are other loyal readers already following your work. If they see people commenting on your blog then they infer that your content must be good since you have readers so they should stick around and see what all the fuss is about. To encourage comments you can simply pose a question in a blog post. Be sure to always respond to comments as well so you can keep the conversation going.

4. Submit your latest pillar article to a blog carnival. A blog carnival is a post in a blog that summarizes a collection of articles from many different blogs on a specific topic. The idea is to collect some of the best content on a topic in a given week. Often many other blogs link back to a carnival host and as such the people that have articles featured in the carnival often enjoy a spike in new readers.

To find the right blog carnival for your blog, do a search at blogcarnival.com.

3. Submit your blog to blogtopsites.com. To be honest this tip is not going to bring in a flood of new readers but it’s so easy to do and only takes five minutes so it’s worth the effort. Go to Blog Top Sites, find the appropriate category for your blog and submit it. You have to copy and paste a couple of lines of code on to your blog so you can rank and then sit back and watch the traffic come in. You will probably only get 1-10 incoming readers per day with this technique but over time it can build up as you climb the rankings. It all helps!

2. Submit your articles to EzineArticles.com. This is another tip that doesn’t bring in hundreds of new visitors immediately (although it can if you keep doing it) but it’s worthwhile because you simply leverage what you already have – your pillar articles. Once a week or so take one of your pillar articles and submit it to Ezine Articles. Your article then becomes available to other people who can republish your article on their website or in their newsletter.

How you benefit is through what is called your “Resource Box”. You create your own resource box which is like a signature file where you include one to two sentences and link back to your website (or blog in this case). Anyone who publishes your article has to include your resource box so you get incoming links. If someone with a large newsletter publishes your article you can get a lot of new readers at once.

1. Write more pillar articles. Everything you do above will help you to find blog readers however all of the techniques I’ve listed only work when you have strong pillars in place. Without them if you do everything above you may bring in readers but they won’t stay or bother to come back. Aim for one solid pillar article per week and by the end of the year you will have a database of over 50 fantastic feature articles that will work hard for you to bring in more and more readers.

I hope you enjoyed my list of traffic tips. Everything listed above are techniques I’ve put into place myself for my blogs and have worked for me, however it’s certainly not a comprehensive list. There are many more things you can do. Finding readers is all about testing to see what works best for you and your audience and I have no doubt if you put your mind to it you will find a balance that works for you.

How Blogging With WordPress Can Help Boost Your Online Business

by on Jul.11, 2010, under Traffic Tactics

I only entered the blogosphere in late 2005 when recognizing that I was losing out on half of the on-line communication” genre. As I had been hard-working managing forums, internet sites, and writing articles, in next to no time realized that I could secure my two niches – aviation and article writing – by blogging on these topics regularly. With that in mind, I soon launched my blogs and I am terribly happy with my chosen host. I picked Word Press as I think they offer one of the most effective blogging communities out there. Are you a blogger? If not, why not? If you are looking for a complete blueprint for Blogging you should check out my Epic Traffic Systems Bonus package.

(Check out this video titled, “Traffic Generator Time Saving Tip” from FantasticInternetMarketingTips.com)

My decision to try Word Press and not with one of the other massive blogging entities like Blogger, had everything to do with my having complete control over the web site. Since my host is with Powweb, I found out that my internet hosting company provides over thirty different software downloads for its subscribers. Word Press and a few alternative blogging entities are represented, however I picked Word Press because of the recommendation of a friend.

After 2 or 3 minutes of downloading, I had Word Press up and running. In less than thirty minutes, I had the arrangement I needed, though I kept the ancient template in place as I wished to figure on my content initially and the design later. Next, I updated the links on my two related web sites to reflect a “Blog” tab. In addition, I picked a few places inside each website to announce the new blogs and I emailed everyone on my members list to tell them of my entrance into the world of blogs.

If you choose Word Press as your blogging platform, you may rapidly discover that Version 3.0 was newly released. Because I’m fresh to blogging, I haven’t yet updated from my downloaded version, 1.5. I need to 1st make certain that Word Press has discovered all the kinks that may be in the updated version. Additionally, not all the plug-ins you can use with 1.five are compatible with 3.zero yet. A good number are, but a few however are not.

Ahead of the update problems, I relish using the administrative “dashboard” which permits me to form every on my blog. If you would like to learn how to harvest large amounts of traffic and send them to your sites to increase your online income quickly using blogging techniques, then take a look at what Keith Baxter and Jon Shugart have to say in my Epic Traffic Systems Review.

Additionally, I prefer the fact that Word Press allows directors to arrange their entries. You’ll be able to blog every day, or schedule your posts to appear online at an appointed time in the future. Since much of my writing inspiration appears in bunches, I usually will tackle several days of posts directly and activate them out over the coming week.

Word Press is current with today’s internet standards and looks much cleaner and more professional than some of its rivals. You’ll be able to change templates to one that’s in the Word Press arsenal or design a template yourself and upload it to your site instead.

Yes, Word Press is intended to be set up through your own internet host, however if you do not have a internet site, you’ll be able to obtain a free account through Internet Press and they can host it for you.

Although Word Press is an “open source” community, that means it is derived from and driven by volunteers, they have a full live forum and several useful links to help you with constructing and managing your own blog.

Obviously, I’m terribly happy as a Word Press customer. You’ll be able to be  a happy blogger too whether you choose Word Press through your internet host or host your blog directly with them. Your first step should be to access some free blogging software. You don’t have to break into your budget just to get you started with blogging. There are a lot of different blogging platforms out there that you can use for free. The best one of them all, however, is WordPress. WordPress is offered as an open source blogging platform that is very easy to install. Once you’ve uploaded a few files, you’re be up and running in just minutes. You’re even able to install is using an existing hosting plan.

Offer an e-mail subscription option for your blog that allows your readers to get your blog posts e-mailed to them directly. This is similar to the process of collecting email addresses in order to send out a newsletter. This differs from a newsletter because they will receive new content you add to your site instead of a newsletter. The main incentive to setting up this process is that a large majority of people that are really interested in the topic will sign-up and read about any products that you might recommend in your content.

Read in-depth Review of seo link vine on our blog.

Put up an Opt-In form that your readers can use to give you their e-mail addresses. This will allow you to contact them directly through e-mail (not the same thing has having a post e-mailed to them) when you have a new idea or need to get their feedback on something.

You must understand that there are millions of people who turn to the internet in search of answers that they want for whatever reason; you can be the one that helps them solve their problem or answer their question. Making Money with Articles: How Much Can I Make?

by on Jul.01, 2010, under Article Writing

How much you can make from placing articles and affiliate links on your web site differs from person to person. How much you are able to make will depend mostly on how prosperous your web page is. This means getting beneficial search engine rankings by means of SEO efforts, making your website enjoyable and informative to read by way of good engaging content, building your internet site around a good niche subject, how big your internet site is, and how many sites you might have.

Some men and women claim to make as much as $10,000 per month ($120,000 per year) by way of building and promoting niche web-sites. Most people should not expect this kind of success over night, specifically if you are new, as that type of accomplishment only comes with experience and acquired skill. A reasonable income to expect from a niche site, having worked on it for several months, may well be $500-$1,000 per month. Nonetheless if this is recurring income, you’ll make that monthly, off the efforts you put into that one internet site or niche product.

(Check out this video titled, “Traffic Generator Time Saving Tip” from FantasticInternetMarketingTips.com)

Just repeat what you did for your profitable site and continue to build niche web sites. The more internet sites that you construct, a higher income is possible to generate. Some also decide to construct extremely fast and really short web sites over web-sites that are slightly longer in length (web pages and articles). It should be noted that the larger each of your sites are, the more income you might generate.

When starting out, it can be essential to remember that your first web site will always be your hardest, since you are just learning the ropes of the business, and that not everyone is cut out to market and promote niche websites. It may not work out for you and you might end up losing a little bit of money, but that’s a risk that everyone in this business has to take.

An excellent way to boost traffic to your site is by using an email marketing list. Quite a few organizations can sell or rent an email marketing list for a variety of demographics, such as new parents, new homeowner leads, and a selection of distinct construction sales leads. You can use numerous diverse filters, such as age, income, gender, ethnicity, and more. Make sure the list you buy is an opt-in list, which means you do not have to worry about being accused of spam. If you choose to use a homeowners list, be sure you contain the price of the house so that you know you are targeting a high value audience. By taking advantage of these kind of email lists you can be sure to take your web marketing to the next level and beyond.

The important thing is that you don’t give up, if this is actually what you want to do. Your primary web site may take a long time, the work may well be tedious, and you could feel like throwing in the towel. However, if you give up too early, you might never know what might have been. And who knows, you may be the next fantastic internet marketer!
